A friend from work went to Ireland and brought me back a Guinness yoyo from the brewery.
String is a silky nylon weave, not twisted, and is pushed into the axle for instant response…ugh why??
The inside of the body was apparently cut by rough edge blade so the string gets stuck on the priklies and makes the yoyo jump and stick and be all weird.
It plays horrible but has a great story. It was a super awesome surprise gift from someone who knows I throw yoyos
Might not be worth messing with and might just be a neat shelf piece but technically it could be chopped sanded and drill out the old axle replace with a new dowel and glue to 7-8 playing cards gap size and it probably would play decent but like I said might be not worth the effort or time.
