Do we need to bind after the grind or just as long as possible?

quick question what kind of constantly moving object does it have to be cause i dont have any pendulums in my house could i have a sealing fan spinning in the back round would that be good enough?
More curious than anything, do you consider matador-style tricks to be grind tricks? Personally, I tend to think of them as separate from grinds, but it could open this contest to some seriously long entries.
I guess it could be considered as a grind, but it would give you an unfair advantage.
