im not getting my pre pro majesty ano’d or bb’d because it will take the resale or trade value, plummet. but I’m also not worried about getting it painted because i got the newest run of the majesties, the one i pictured earlier. its tumbled and ano’d, its gonna be a beast

I don’t know where you got this idea because anything anoed by Jason or Aman is immediately more valuable.
true, true. i was already thinking of getting ano’d and bb’d by aman. once n00beginner posted that link i thought that i might want aman to do it.

I would consider it to lose value, considering most of the custom ano jobs I’ve seen haven’t been all that flattering. Also it eliminates tons of potential buyers, considering most won’t want your “custom” design. I don’t want yoyo’s with question marks, arrows, four leaf clovers, etc etc.
Also, why not just get an Aman G-Yo?
I don’t plan on getting a symbol anoed in. I’ll get it either in a pretty standard Aman colorway or solid polished gold. Or similar.

In my opinion, if you would want to keep or increase its current value, get it anodized in a popular color-way. If you are like me, you would get a color-way that you personally like and and have no intention of ever selling it.
