--- Fluid Print Dynamics --- (Official)

I am so happy to be one of the first 10. I can hardly wait till it arrives.

Hmm my original thoughts too. Using a spacer system would be better I agree. But it was either side effects or yoyofactory spacers!

We all know how those spacers are…

I love the look of the side effects anyway!

Cheers.

That’s exactly how I feel.

All Orders finally shipped! Apologies for the delay.

We have one white one left… if anyone wants it PM me.

We will be moving to a new design without side effects. Because the ones we made with side effects are not removable, I think we will have better luck with a spacer and nut design.

I also came across a denser plastic… :o

Thanks!

I am looking forward to receiving the Kayto 1. Thanks for letting us know about the shipping.

Question? how will the denser plastic effect play compared to the original?

I’d love to see one in PLA, if your printer supports it. It’s cheaper, has shorter layers (higher resolution printing), is easier to work with, and doesn’t warp as much. Its also a bit heavier, so you can ease up on your rims.

PLA is our next goal.

I got a bunch of people to try one we did in PLA and they loved it, even more so than the original ABS one. We also had one proto that is pretty wild - with holes all around to make the hub lighter but that is something to share with everyone another day.

The second run with the denser plastic combined with an aluminum bearing seat, it will be an epic yoyo.

I still feel the quality and the color of the Kayto 1 (the ones people ordered already) is far superior. Side effects do look better than an acorn nut that we plan to use for the second run.

Hope that answers everyones question. I also would like to thank everyone who ordered one - please know you are not just buying a cool yoyo but supporting further development. I have to be dead honest here - we lost a bit of money for our first run but that is okay, with the money raised we made some design changes that will hopefully work out in the end!

Cheers

Just got mine today!
It has a bit of a vibe and the edges could have be rounded a little but my first throws were fun and I expect to enjoy this for a long time.

Thanks-

With the next version we are using a metal bearing seat. Hopefully this will help with the slight vibe we had with the first run.

I don’t think we will ever eliminate the vibe. That is just the nature of a 3d printed yoyo.

We are working on the Kayto 2. It will be the same shape but like I said, metal bearing seat.

Cheers.

how much will the kayto 2 cost?

Around the same price, 35 bucks.

Play is superior, more on that later though!

Cheers

When will they be available for buying? :o

The sequel after the response we got from version 1!

As you can see in the picture, this Yoyo uses Hollow Hub Technology (H.T.T.). The hub is HOLLOW to allow for maximum rim weight distribution without sacrificing strength. No other manufacturing process can achieve this in a single solid part except for 3d printing making this a world first for a yoyo. The play is awesome to say the least.

New plastic is DENSER! Printed in Polylactic Acid.

6061 aluminum bearing seat that DO NOT have death grip syndrome (Where the bearing gets stuck on the seat) allow for use of any full sized C bearing!

New axle system that utilizes the proven nut and axle system, used in plastic yoyos around the world.

Shipping starts early June!

You’re using PLA now i’m interested

Yep! PLA is a great material. More picky on machine settings but makes the yoyos play very very well!

Wow! LOTS of orders! thanks for the support!!

Thanks again for the support from everyone!

Great video.

How did you get the rights to use side effects?

Pretty sure you don’t need the “rights” to use them. You just need the side effects, only available from One Drop.

That video is great. I cannot wait to receive mine. Thanks so much for this cool project!
