Yeah, that’s crazy. But that makes me think, were you talking about sleeptime on a sleeper or sleeptime on string tricks?
You should see Rick Wyatt or Tim Redmond throw a long sleeper. Kind of terrifying to behold - like if they break a string they’ll crack the earth under them. Tim’s fixed axle record with the DJ is like 3m+ (but that yo-yo is DESIGNED exclusively for long sleepers). Back when that was actually something people cared about (before yo-yo’s slept for minutes basically by accident lol) there would be a lot of people breaking out the POWER THROW.
And nooooobody had a power throw like Rick.
So Rick was basically the Nolan Ryan of yoyoing…
If Nolan Ryan were a 6’3 275lb linebacker then sure.
Ok, so it seems pretty clear that what peolme care about most is consistent and easy response with neutral string tension and that long spin times don’t matter for most.
People are really going to love the Spinworthy Boon when I put a few out there.
IMO sleep time on fixed axle is useless. If I wanted something that has response but spin I would just buy a responsive yoyo.
Looks so comfy.
It is!
