Here’s a video from a day I spent with LK documenting his process.
Also for those wondering about durability they are surprisingly hearty. I play mine with rings on with no worries. You can’t hit them on the floor hard but they are perfectly suited to normal play.
This saddens me greatly. My greatest joy in life comes from really ramming my yo-yos home into the floor. I think I’m going to re-examine some of my life choices.
Dude!! Thank you for sharing that, seriously. The music was perfect to add to the mesmerizing effect of the whole thing. When talking about the skill, really take note of the precision that is being achieved without machining or computers, only the skillful eyes and hands of a talented human being…(you are human, right @yoyoyoga?) Just amazing.
Im still practicing even though I already submitted my tricks.
Y’all all that slimline practice ive been doing is paying off. Im giving my fixie a break until next week so I’m hitting the tricks on my Duncan Pulse . I still have to get better at the double lunar but at least Im hitting the single pretty consistently. I just struggle hitting the third landing that one is the hardest one for me.
I think my next step is learning to link my tricks together. I havent really learned to combo yet ive just been learning each tricks individually. I might need to cave and do that with a butterfly though cuz im not there yet on slim line.
The more I play yoyo the more I am amazed at how good people in the community are with them. Glad I found this hobby and community.
Hah I prefer to have less things I don’t use and I already have a good selection of fixies so if I do happen to win, I would like to have y’all send it to @Phlox . Also yah I would prolly explode it pretty quick like I like a dangerously long string
