here you go  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0phezdpmGo&feature=youtu.be&proxmate=us

Sorry if this has been asked but can I use a TMBR Sullivan? It has a wooden axle it’s fixed but the axle does have two parts, to turn the yoyo into imperial or butterfly shape.

Sullivan is pretty much the fixedest yoyo ever. Absolutely.

Ok so I saw the clip on Instagram before seeing this thread. This actually inspired me to go back and mess around with a fixed axle. Ended up borrowing a wooden axle from a Duncan Limelight and stuck it inside one of my Mosquitos which feels perfect for messing around.

Having not ever done a stall before and watching the clip for about 30 seconds or so, I already nailed the trapeze stall! Now to work on the rest of it before I rig a GoPro up to me

Good luck everyone!

i show axle at the end of video.

Awesome contest! I hope I can keep up.

Just wondering, did anyone land the dismount on a steel axle (like Duncan Butterfly or Wheels)? Sorry, I have no time to look at all the entries…

I did on a Fidalgo… which is a metal axle… but it’s a metal throw also.

Here’s a blurry video. Hope this works. Working on a better one know if I can get these cameras to act right.

Mine.
I’m using a wood fixed handmade. I’m not able to open it to show the axle, it’s like glued. Don’t know if it’s ok.

I am so impressed with all of the Entry’s and I wish you all luck. As for me, yesterday I was finally able, after two weeks of working at it, to do the Trapeze Stall (I got it twice in a row).
Again GOOD LUCK to all who have. and will, enter.

lol i literally started learning fixed axle a week before the contest started, I can do everything but the trapeze while it is spinning because mine does not spin at all  lol

He’s my entry, big thanks to Ed and Andre for doing this!!!

Got out my 2014 Eh, got the camera focus in check and over an hour of filming later, I’ve got a submission you can see. And PSA: don’t start smoking kids, it’s a horrible habit and is much harder to kick than you’d think! Anyway, here’s my seeable video:

Alright tried and couldn’t do it first off all don’t have a fixed axle yoyo but modified Yoyofactory Fast 201 but couldn’t even get till trapeze bro but yea I tried it first time today so I can’t think of hitting it first try.

I need to work on the flyaway dismount. Hopefully this works if not, I’ll keep working on the next rounds and playing cheerleader to everyone ;D

I can’t view all the vids because I’m on the road, but what I HAVE seen is just SO RAD. You have no idea how amazing it is to see so many people nailing this stuff. So cool and exciting and vindicating, and it makes me thrilled for the future of fixed axle (which for a LONG time, felt like it only had a past).

THANKS to everyone giving it a shot.

I will note that I’ve always been kinda old school both as a player and as a judge. So if you’re not hitting the trick the way I do it or you’re not hitting it cleanly and clearly, be advised I’m the ladder judge all the kids dread.

19 hours and 42 minutes, give or take!

Skinny, your first one was clear enough to see, but it’s good you got your camera figured out.

Anyways, I got a late start to this party. I can get everything except that last roll in the flyaway dismount. I would keep trying, but I don’t have a great way to film anyways. Regardless, looking forward to seeing everybody’s submissions throughout this contest! I’ll still be trying to land each round, just not participating.

If we can show the axle at the end it will make for shorter video, plus it messes up string tension taking it apart before the trick.  On to round 2, Jamie you already have a fidalgo I’m gunning for mine.
