Yeah, it’s a switch exclusive. It does have online mp, however I don’t know how easy it is to connect to friends. Nintendo isn’t the best with online. And dang guys, all this FFVII shade is killing me on the inside.

Yesterday I crawled through the unbelievably hot attic to find our Nintendo 64 so we could play Zelda: Ocarina of Time. My seven-year-old declared me “the greatest video game finder ever.”

I’m an RPG guy, so most of the games I play fall into those categories. However I’ll list my favorites by genre so it’s not saturated:
JRPG: Final Fantasy 6
Western RPG: Baldurs Gate
Action RPG: Zelda: A Link to the Past (tied with BotW)
Survival horror: The Last of Us
MMO: World of Warcraft - like there’s any others 
Sports: Super Punch Out
Racing: Need for Speed (any of them)
Platformer: Hmm… Too many to decide. Shovel Knight, Mega Man X 1-3, Super Mario World, etc etc
Metroidvania: Symphony of the Night. But there’s so many good ones.
MOBA: Heroes of the Storm
Shooter: Don’t really play em. Prob Overwatch if I did
RTS: Starcraft 1
Card Game: Hearthstone
2D Fighting: Street Fighter 2
Beat em Up: Final Fight
Know what bugs me? When people say RPG game.

I’ve only just seen that you enjoy nethack, what a great game! I did play it on my old PC years and years ago but recently got it on my Android phone. Real hidden gem with so much depth and no game is the same. How deep did you get?

I always forget that when people say RPG they mean a video game, not a “real” tabletop RPG.

I play a Pathfinder campaign with a group of friends - we regularly meetup every other Friday night to play.
Also, been pretty addicted to the new Fire Emblem game for Nintendo switch

I’ve never played much Pathfinder, but played a lot of D&D 3.5 and 4. We’re playing a Savage World’s campaign now.

I started playing Three houses, it is very good. Too bad I completely distracted myself with watching the Tales of Vesperia anime. Spent the last two weeks beating Tales of Vesperia, and then finished up Tales of Berseria last night. That series is fantastic, but now I can get back to Fire Emblem.

Anyone on here that plays Apex Legends on Xbox?
Crikey it has been a few years since I played it and I must admit I never got too far (mainly because I refuse to use any tips/walkthroughs) and I am a very casual player. But yes there is such incredible depth and at times humour and I always admired how damn clever it is. It puts all console games to shame, it really does!
