It seems to me that onedrop was responsible for setting lots of the standard other high end
manufacturers had to follow. The had superior bearings, they experimented with cool colorways, and they offered the M1 when most of the high end metals were almost twice the price.
The thing that really stands out to me about onedrop even beyond their high standards, is that they would take back a yo-yo and for only five dollars, refurbish it and return it to you. That kind of customer service would be impossible on a huge scale, but they were able to do it, and it helped develop them a really loyal customer base.
The fact that they are able to maintain their standards and grow as much as they have is also a remarkable aspect.
I consider the ābearing fallā issue to be the only real downside to Side Effects. Iāll take it because other than that they are incredible.
