dv888 vs maverick

I’d say go for the DV888 because I have both and the DV888 handles my tricks with a lot of string layers better than the Maverick and I prefer the DV888 because it doesn’t snag as much as the Maverick when I do whips and such. Also the Maverick doesn’t have the regular C-Size bearing (Yoyojam Dark Magic and Yoyofactory 888 bearing for example ;D) so you can’t just exchange the bearing with a bearing of your liking.

I have 2 maverriks both broken the maverik has a short axle and will fall apart but it is the yoyo that is
so bad it makes you beter and is more rewarding but the DV888 is hands down beter then the maverick
