Hi I am looking into getting my first metal yoyo I am looking into the c13 or dv888 i just want your guys oppinion
The dv888 is a good yoyo. I previously owned one and traded it. It isnt exactly the most comfortable of all yoyos as it isnt easy to catch. The c13 I have played withe before and its a light yoyo and small. Its pretty good from what I have played with. I would go with either one this is a tought decision but personally, dv888
Out opinion doesn’t matter, yours does.
I would go for the Dv888, its shape is easier to get use to, the Catch 13 has a very angular shape, and not many people may like it.
But answer these questions so we know what you like in a more specific way:
- What size do you prefer? (Big, small, medium, etc)
- What shape do you prefer? (Be specific: Round Butterfly, Flat Rims, pointy shape, H-Shape)
- What response do you prefer? (Silicone, O-Ring, Hybrid, Pad, etc)
- Do you like to mod/maintain it?
- What weight is ideal to you?
- Does color matter?
- How does your style relate to the yoyo? (What kind of tricks do you like to do? Fast? Technical? Smooth? Slacks?)
- What is your price range?
- What is your skill level?
size=medium to large
shape=idk what shape ill just say im use to the new breed, and the x convict
response= anything besides starburst or hybrid
the only thing i usually do is put a kk inn it and shims
um for the weight somewhere between 66 to 70
any color besides green and pink
pretty much everything
price range between 60$ to 80$
skill is like expert 2 give or take a few tricks and 1 master trick
I would say the Dv888 is more fit for you.
Agreed. You can try one out, but both of those are undersized.
Yeah, I think the DV888 sounds better as well.
oh yeah and what about the genisis
I think that that would be a better choice, but pick the one you want.

Go for the Dv888.

A lot smaller. A few millimeters. It doesn’t sound like much, but it really is.
what about the axiom?
Barely bigger.
Trust me, you will get use to the size.
Personally i love the Dv888, i’ve played with both the frantic, hetic, and the c13. The c13, i feel has a weird shape, but can catch string easily and could take lots of layers of string. However i prefer the DV888 over the c13 because it plays much smoother and is on the heavier side (66g, i think?). Also i love the way it looks and the anodization is excellent, good for thumb grinds. 8) bottom line though, 
its up to you if you like a yoyo that is small or large, ugly or nice, and feel.
