Depends. Is it your first yoyo? Then raptor. If yot just looking for a yoyo to add to yoir collection, then it would depend on your preferences. Size, weight, color, shape, response, etc…
I liked my DV888 but I haven’t used a Raptor though.
I would listen to Q he know’s what he’s talking about.

I’d go with what Jayyo said. I would go for the Raptor.
Raptor all the way. It is very smooth, almost vibeless, has 2 removable caps for different weight, feel, play, 2 extra sets of response pads, comes in many colors, has 2 nice laser engravings on the sides and very grindable. It may seem to be over-sized, but not too much. Fits nicely in your hands. But it is bigger than the Dv888 as the Dv888 is very small.
Dv888 is not a bad choice but I tend to feel that Raptor is smoother and people claim that too.
