DTTech Official Company Topic: Ever Wondered what Eternity was like?

stackable?
interesting indeed… ;D

Why not?

Because it’s taboo, that’s why you call a company something.

W T F Ftw.

I figured a “RecRev FTW” would be more appropriate from you.

Hehe, lol I wanted it to be different than all these serious companies, I mean yeah I mean business but I’m in it for the fun and the actual yo-yoing.

DTTech is changing webistes.

http://yoyodg.tumblr.com/

I will be using this for both DTTech and Home-Brewed Accessories (Which are brother companies, basically)

Now, I wouldn’t update, but, I’m going to be experimenting w/ Solidworks, and, if I get the hang of it, I’ll be able to make designs w/o Photoshop sketches first.

Just thought I’d say.

Can’t help but notice my screen name on the first post.

WHY?! lol

Well, when looking at your site and talking about the logo, I decided to check out TUMBLR, so I included you in the first post xD

Scratch the Solidworks thing for now. I’m having issues with the download

^
Don’t you mean purchase?

5 Month Trial. I haven’t bought it yet :stuck_out_tongue:

And, when you DL the file, you have to DL 1.95 G of data, and, well, something went wrong.

Lol that’s not bad at all, usually programs are like 10gb.

Yeah, I know, but it still took 1.5 hrs to DL, and then my comp went blue on me :frowning:

Oh, and, I figured I’d share the sketch for the updated Infin8ty, seeing as how the other design, to me, looked too much like a Severe or Supernova.

This one takes roots in YYR, Turning Point, and an old U-shape design I never showed anybody.
^^What I mean is they inspired me to make a U-Shaped Yoyo of this style^^

Not a copy. You may look at all of the designs. You will find similar elements, but everything was refined to match my idea, and, TBH, I didn’t really use any yoyo as a reference. I just remember the U-style Turning Point Uses, and decided to make it slightly more pronounced, and build around it.

This sketch looks similar to TP Leviathan, but has a few notable differences.

  1. thinner width, by proportion.
  2. Not as smooth. (Not really rounded. Will still be rounded, but still w/ Edges. Similar to YYR’s round edges)
  3. Tapered gap.
  4. Not as bulbous. Steeper.
  5. More U-Shaped than Butterfly or Concave.

I really like this design because it has the elements of some of the best elements of some of the best elements:

  1. YYR’s Edges (Perfect median)
  2. Slight U-Shape that Turning Point Has (More pronounced than Turning Points, though)
  3. Tapered Gap
  4. OD 10 Ball Bearing (Amazing)

Enjoy. If I can get w/ Cameron and get this CAD, I will actually get this prototyped Around (or During March. May wait til April, so I can actually get something for my B-Day) March, instead of the Ferudoctus.

Huh autodask took me 15 hours. Lol, looking good btw.

Yeah, I like this design alot more than the v1 Infin8ty.

Hmm, it appears that I have learned the ways of Solidworks

Now, it’s time to get a bit more serious.

This will be our first proto, to provide some time for Cameron to relax.

Even better, I made this after 6 painstaking hours on 1 yoyo while still figuring out what to do.

So, please take a moment to observe.

Specs:

Diameter: 55.12mm
Width: 41.91mm
Weight: Approx. 63-64g (After further review, about 33.5)
Response: Flowable Silicone

I’m hoping this won’t need tweaking, but, as light as it is, it just might. We’ll have to find out.

Anyway, keep in mind this is a V2 of the Infin8ty, which means that there will only be 1 more design to come out of us this year - The Harbergeon, which I will be working on from here on out.

Adios.

C. Halbach

Here we go
