Does anyone have a Accel wing yoyo? If so I have some questions like where should I get one in the U.S, can I make it unresponsive, or are there any other full free spinning side cap yoyos

@fradiger just gifted me one of these in a trade bonus! It’s fun. Maybe he can tell us where he sourced it. It’s got a starburst response and an A bearing (I think). Not sure you can make it unresponsive.

Hmm, are you familiar with any other yoyos that have full side cap hub stats like an inverted nine dragons

I was thinking about 9 dragons too but no, I don’t. Would hubstacks fit your need?

Take a look at Duncan spin drifter.

Photon Spirit might be kind of like what you are looking for. It’s an unresponsive with side cap face stacks.
Like a Nine Dragons and Accel had a baby.

The reason I’m going through this whole thing is because the photon Spirit went out of stock so yeah I’m trying to find basically the photon spirit

Dang, well, that makes sense then, haha.
Luckily, we had a kind person here who was gracious enough to pick one up for me when he was in Japan mid-last-year. It’s an enjoyable throw, if it ever pops up again.

What would basically solve? This problem is if there was a photon spirit for like regular price anywhere else

And sadly the Duncan momentum is like $100 and out of stock which are both things that wouldn’t work for where I’m at

that’s the accel origin, I bought it directly from Japan just to bump me over the free shipping threshold, they’re available on any of the popular JP storefronts (spin of gear and re of wind to avoid ‘directly’ naming them)

I think the best bet you’d have for a yoyo like this is a YYF confusion with Z stacks

The accel origin would be good but I’m looking for a winged unresponsive free spinning side cap yoyo. Basically the photon spirit but it’s out of stock wherever I look

the accel line of yoyos are definitely closer to toys than actual yoyos (this makes them very fun though), I don’t think I could recommend one if you want to put more than 2 layers of string in the gap

Maybe you could get someone to 3D print “caps”, something that would pop on to something with hubstacks.
