Well, on my DM will this work if done correctly:
Sand down the starburst, make a silicone recess groove silicone it.
Easier said than done, huh?
If you could do it perfectly it would work. I suggest you send it to Icthus he will do cheap and really well.
But my shop is closed for now. I have way too much work to catch up on.
