Cubing Corner

Dang it. Sub 4 f2l but had a terrible last layer. Ended up with a 9.86.

What would you have had?

If I had a one look oll and no lockups it would have been sub 8 easily. Sune pll skip would have been sub 6 easily. My normal LL is around 3.5 seconds

Iā€™m learning ell right now

I figured out a slow version of 3-style for edges today. The cycles are longer, but easier for me to understand.

Ell for what? Oh?

Last layer edges. That combined with most CMLL cases makes a 2 look last layer. Iā€™d use it for f2l

Okay that makes sense. I was thinking youā€™d use it for roux but it wouldnā€™t be near as efficient as l6e

Hey guys, help stop the rubikā€™s brand monopoly in the European Union. If you donā€™t already know, seven towns (rubikā€™s company) has trademarked the grid design of the cube, banning all other speedcubes. People who have ordered non-rubik cubes have gotten them confiscated by customs. I started a Facebook group recently to organize our efforts to stop them. We are currently also working on a website and other information resources. This is the case Rubikā€™s patent update : Rubikā€™s wins its biggest legal case yet! - Rubik's for Brand Communication and this is our group Redirecting...
Please help us stop this madness before the situation worsens

Iā€™m already in the group

Just did a bld solve using a very watered down version of 3-style. I solve two corners at a time in about 15 moves per pair of corners. I did something similar for edges. I used U2 as a base for corners and M2 as a base for edges.

Iā€™ve switched to 3 style now for bld. Iā€™m still pretty slow at it, but Iā€™ll get faster soon. Iā€™ve been doing quite a bit of 3 style lately.

Oh cool

did a o-h 3-style bld solve

Wat? HOW??!!!??

Skill. Actually not really, commutators are easier than setup moves, because you just have to remember cube rotation.

3pro5me

Huh?

Its just a bit of a joke. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh. Speaking of oh, Iā€™m trying OH 4x4x4 blind recently. Iā€™ve tried the centers once.
