Im a little confused on what yo-yo i should go with. Right now i have YYJ Dark Magic and it was a great beginner yo-yo until my string broke one day and the side got damaged :’(. So now i want to upgrade but i dont know what would be a good fit for me. I like a medium sized yo-yo that is fairly light weight and the longer the spin time the bette.r If anyone could please reply back with any suggestions that would be of help.
First of all, welcome to the forum! 
Second, the Dark Magic is a great yoyo that can be used from beginners to the advanced very easily. With a good throw, most yoyos can sleep for similar times, all of which are much greater than you would really need to do your tricks.
If you do want to get a metal, might I suggest a Peak? It’s somewhat large, but it’s very floaty and feels kind of light (whether it is or not I don’t know).
Also, what kind of shape are you looking for? Round, H-shape, flat rims, etc…?
I’d say go for a YYJ Eneme. It rulz, enuff said.
So do most yoyos. Eneme is undersized anyways.
well as i say a lot (with good reason) if you find a general yoyo, GET IT. they are hard to find, but i have yet to hear bad things about them.
