I love how because it’s got CLYW in the name people think it’s gonna be expensive. You gotta remember that CLYW is in Canada, so the yoyos ship to stores from Canada. So let’s think of a route of the yoyo from creation to stores.

  1. Machinist in America (Last I remember one drop does machining, I don’t know if they do all of it)
  2. Anodizing in America (Gruntbull still?)
  3. CLYW in Canada
  4. Stores all around the world

So, the yoyos get shipped a total of 4 times at least. Across the border twice?

And with the summit the yoyos will get machined by One Drop, anoed close by and shipped from One Drop thus being cheaper because they don’t have as much shipping to cover.

-My theory, that may or may not be the truth.

Chris said they sold out in 10 minutes…and some people were camping out for almost two hours waiting for them.

I was one of the campers:P It was pretty crazy. A bunch of people showed up at noon and tried to crowd to the front. And an I the only one with a super tight Summit?

Best part about SE yoyos is you can always buy a new axle and axle hole set to replace stripped threads

Got my summit!! Had Paul dang not told me to have someone hold my spot in the 1a prelim line to get in line for the summit, I would have missed out. Plays fantastic!!

Just got home from cal states, what a blast. Great to see a lot of talent, and meet Andre, and Chris from CLYW.

I was definitely camped out there for over an hour. Was the 3rd person in line, and I got 1 of the 3 V1 prototypes.
