okay some feedback now I’ve actually tried to learn it:
you’ve done a really good job of showing multiple angles/slow mo on all the elements… EXCEPT the most difficult one.
there is an almost imperceptible magic drop/ string rejection going on between 0:52 and 0:54 that you completely gloss over.
I try to swing it around and just end up with 3 layers of string in the gap.
gonna need some help with that if you could?
Hey Paul! Thanks for taking the time to learn this trick! That magic drop type element is actually just something that happens naturally as you swing the yoyo over in that direction. What might help though is as the yoyo swings over to reject bring your hands closer together. Let me know if that helps. If not I’ll try and film a short vid of a few different angles to better explain what’s happening 
Just realized something: I’d advise repeating a step once each time you do it. So the watcher should see each element twice.
