Case of the slipping string

This may be a crazy question, but here goes. I’m new at this Yoyo stuff and just started using a yoyoXpert glove which I like, but find that the string slips on my glove finger. Has anyone else had this problem and if so is there a solution? Thanks Gary.

Try to point your finger more up if it helps.

I often see threads regarding the finger pain caused by the string strangling the newcomers phalanges. I personally dislike tape and gloves, especially when new to yoyoing. It’s really such a bother to carry a glove and mess with tape not to mention the feel of the string. I present to you the skitrz digit survival guide!
