I was just curious if it can grind as well cause people are saying that with it’s pyramette finish or something it can grind pretty well.
I was wondering if the nickel plated one had the same finish or something since it looks super smooth so it might tend to stick to the skin?
Does it tarnish like raw aluminum?
It doesn’t grind very well, no. And it tarnishes, just not near as fast as raw aluminum. I think nickel looks cool when it tarnishes tho.
I used to have a Nickle Dietz and surprisingly the surface was pretty capable of grinding ;). Not as good as Pyramatte but still better than raw surface IMO.
It does tarnish like raw aluminum but you can still polish it eventually.
