Does anyone have any advice for getting brent stole? I cant get the yoyo in the loop.

Hey YoPDX! I’ve found that working on the Hook helped me figure out Brent Stole. You can see the hook trick here: http://yoyoexpert.com/learn/078-expert-hook.html
What you do in the hook is whip the string around the yo-yo and with your freehand index finger intercept the loop of string coming around the yo-yo. By doing this you cause this loop of string to hinge around your finger and it will loop around the yo-yo landing the hook. The difference between the hook and the Brent Stole however is the strings you intercept with your freehand index finger.
In the hook you intercept both of the strings of the loop you are whipping around the yo-yo. In Brent Stole you only intercept the string closest to your body, the rest of the string will continue it’s motion up over the yo-yo, down around the string now wrapped around your freehand index finger and underneath the yo-yo.
The idea is to land the yo-yo in the loop that is now underneath the yo-yo. It will create the Green Triangle part of the Brent Stole trick. To get out of the Brent Stole you simply pop the yo-yo out of the green triangle and away from your body. If you pop the yo-yo out of the green triangle and towards your body you will make a knot.
