Im throwing strong sleepers but when i go into a brain twister or split bottom mount, the yoyo just sequels for a bit and shoots back to my hands really quickly. How do i fix this problem ???
You’re using a Dark Magic, am I correct?
Widen the gap of the dark magic by unscrewing it just a little, and try again.
It could also be how you’re doing the mount. Try centering the strings in the yoyo’s gap and don’t pinch the string.
If all this doesn’t work, unscrew the yoyo, take out the bearing, and see if there’s any debris stuck in the bearing by removing the bearing shields and inspecting the bearing. Otherwise, you might want to try lubricating your yoyo’s bearing.
How to remove bearing shields:
P.S. I used a thumbtack
Im not using a dark magic!! Its just my favourite yoyo, it looks cool! Im using a Yo2 crystal triple action yoyo.
That is an auto-return yoyo. The squeal you hear is more than likely the clutch kicking in forcing the return.
You need to go back and read the advice in your other posts:
How to make my YO2 sleep longer
Like jhb8426 said, that yoyo is an auto return yoyo. If you want to turn off the auto return, change the yoyo to “Freespin”. You also might want to consider buying a new ball bearing yoyo. Her’s a great one:YoYoJam – YoYoExpert

That always happened to me. In general, all you have to do is some how make your yoyo LESS responsive. What is happening is the yoyo is “binding,” and you obviously don’t want that now.
NOTE: Around the intermediate section of tricks is about the gateway period of switching to an unresponsive yoyo (at least, that’s when I switched). In your circumstances, I’d learn to bind, and switch to using your Dark Magic. It is MUCH better than an auto-return yoyo.
You really should take time to read the whole topic before you reply…
The yoyo he’s using is a yomega brain knockoff (auto return). There’s really no way to make it much less responsive. The “bind” you note is the auto return clutch kicking in. And he doesn’t have a DM.
And why is “learn to bind” the advice given 9 out of 10 times when a new guy is having problems with doing a trick???
Or was it rhetorical?
Nope.
So is there no way to fix it. Or do I just buy a better yoyo?
thats an auto yoyo u need a un responsive yoyo
I’ve personally never tried your auto return yoyo, but I know Yomega Brains really don’t give beginners a ton of time to be learning tricks. I would recommend, if you’re trying to get into some basic string tricks, to get a beginner butterfly-shape yoyo like a YoYoFactory FAST 201. It’s responsive so it should be an easy transition from your current yoyo, but it’s built for string tricks like the mounts you’re trying to learn.
No offense meant, but you really need to consider a better throw.
Sorry (Noob question) Does better throw mean better yoyo or just throwing it better! :-\
In this case, better yoyo, but throw means both sleeper throw and yoyo.
