Yeah final draft pictures would be great!
okay ill do that as soon as possible. its just I’ve been busy with stuff lately.
okay here are some pics of the cads. most of them are still going to have some changes made, as we’ve really only been concentrating on the first 2 (were still not sure which one will be our first run). anyway here are pics, they are in order of how much we like them.
this one is our favorite, and is pretty much the only one with a complete and final design. sorry that i didn’t have time to include the profile outline on some of these.
second favorite. the first production will either be this one or the one above. sorry, this one is only the profile, as auto cad was being annoying and not letting me include the fleshed out full design. it looks pretty much like the last pic on the very first post i made on this topic.
this one is pretty new, so it is far from final.
this one will probably have some major design changes, i kinda screwd up on the shape a bit. it should look a little more like the 7th one down on the very first post on this topic.
They all look great if the price stays at $75-ish I’ll definitely buy a proto regardless of the design you pick
Can we get the cross section of the first one? I really like it.
here, I re-drew the outline of the first one (it still is just as exact) just without some things like the axle hole and such (would have taken too long)
this is the one we will almost for sure be making protos of first, so if you like it then you’re in luck.
I like the first one. Not many doing H shape recently.
Specs?
I really like 1 and 3
ok guys, I would like to propose an idea that i had a little while back. seeing as it would cost a great deal to just to get one run (and I mean a LOT) then we are thinking that after we get the prototypes finalized, then instead of doing 100 yo-yos, then every week or 2 we can just have 3 or 4 yo-yos made cheap, and sell those. that way we could sell a few at a time and sort of stay as a small business until our sales raise a satisfactory amount of money, and get a full run done. what are the thoughts of the people?
Assuming you can pay for the smaller runs and I have a chance at getting one of these puppies (preferably raw hint, hint ) any way you run your business is fine with me!
Contact Aoda.
I like the second one.
contact aoda about what?
You’re better off maybe taking pre-sales to fund a larger run of yoyos, or else get financing. This small run stuff will just end up costing you and your potential clients in the long and short run. Who it hurts worse will be you.
Make a test batch up. Control the, give them away sparingly. Go to shows and contests ad let people try them. Collect feedback. If things are positive, go big!
Okay guys, Update: we should have our first prototype within the next 2 weeks
Also, we are experimenting with strings, so the protos and maybe the final yo-yos may come with our own custom made strings (Mostly for intermediate players) that play pretty well, and look beast!
im definitely interested in getting one! hit me up when you are starting to sell the proto’s!!!
Yoyos are finished, we should be able to try them within the next week or so!
