Well, guys We just got our first run of prototypes!!! They work really well, and I’m very satisfied with what we got. The only things that will for sure be changed is the weight and the tiny vibe that they have. We will be putting 3 of them out for testing within the next month or so. To get one will cost somewhere around $50 (much cheaper than what we originally thought). The design was changed slightly, so I don’t have the exact specs other than it’s a bit smaller and fits a size C bearing, and CBC slim response pads. Pics should come soon.
In response to WildCat23, we found out that a sort of friend of a friend just happens to own a machine shop and used to be the local yoyo champ. He had very low prices so we decided to go with him.
Just to be clear, If you don’t manage to nab a pro to this round, we will be selling more later on, so stay tuned. Also, If you want one that is a bit more finalized, I suggest waiting till the next set.
we will change that to something more substantial, but we haven’t decided what. we might use a regular axle system or we might go with something similar, just more precise and balanced that the mockup that we have now.
You guys should read the posts more carefully. We got 4 prototypes done, 3 of which will be sold. After we get feedback we will make another set of at least 4 with the necessary changes.
We will sell these 3 fairly soon, like within a few weeks. unfortunately, seeing as there are only 3, that means that a lot of people won’t get one from the first set, and will have to wait a while more. Whether you get one or not will depend on a few factors, including how badly you want one, how much publicity you can get, how good you are, etc. in a little while we will account for everyone who wants to get one and begin the process of deciding who will be the ones to get the yo-yos.
Ok guys, this is the point where everyone who wants a proto will be counted. If you want one of the protos (only if you want one from THIS current set) then reply to this thread saying so.
Also, when you reply include a number from 1-10 showing how much you want this yoyo, 1 being you only kinda want one but are okay with waiting, 5 being you are willing to by and test our yoyo and maybe go through a bit of trouble to do so, and 10 being OMG I NEED ONE NOW!!!
It would also be nice to know how much you are willing to pay, seeing as funds are a major issue.

Looks like a very promising design and I would love to do one of my full photo reviews of one when they are available!
Seeing as you are a new company I would absolutely love a prototype not only because I want to really review one but because the design looks amazing! I’d say my want would be around a 9 since I think its exciting to be able to test out and review the first design of a new company.
