BLTyoyoworks, 3rd run of prototypes finished!

It is very unique, but because of the lightness there are still problems like spin time. with a mediocre bearing it can spin for like a minute and a half (on an okay throw), but during a long combo it won’t last as long.

I can see how that could be a problem, maybe on the next batch of protos you could add an irg for extra rim weight. Also hiw thin are the walls? Is durability an issue? If it is a few more grams could be put into beefing up the thinnest parts so that there is, no risk of them breaking.

we’ve been really careful, so I have no idea how durable they are. they should be at least fairly strong.

Make the walls at least 1.75 mm.

walls are no thinner than 2 mm I believe

I also drew a design of a yoyo similar to this with more weight if your interested in seeing it.

Well, 49 grams would make it floaty, I presume

oooh yeah. too much I would say.

Also, that screw on the hub might pose a problem, seeing as it has the phillipshead ending that might catch your finger while spinning.

we got rid of the screw. we just have a regular axle, except that it is fixed in one side. (though not if you guys don’t want that)

that seems fine to me

So kind of like Burnside or DV888 hubs?

BTW tomato, luquita88 and I form the company

#6 <3

read the later pages, we scrapped almost all the ideas on the first page. we now have the first prototypes of our final design.

Wait, so what do the actual hubs look like?

I suggest that you should make nubs like clyw or spyy instead of like dv888 or burnside. It allows for a longer axle. More center weight, and looks a LOT better.

Is there anyway to get one of your throws? I would happily buy one off of you

When are we gonna learn who the testers are? I want to test one so much!
