Blitzball v2 vs. Seeker vs. Windball

I’m a total looping beginner and can only manage a few one-handed loops. I’ve been looking at different looping yoyos, and these three have caught my eye the most. Which one would you recommend? Thanks!

(I also found the Loop Up, but i think it is too complicated (?) for beginners maybe.)

Loop Up comes in a metal spacer version that is more beginner friendly. If you can get a pair easily and in your budget they are a fantastic option.

I have a pair of Blitzballs and a pair of Seekers, but the Seekers are a recent acquisition. Of the two I prefer the Seekers because they are a little heavier and I happen to like the art and colors better (I will also note the art on my Blitzballs rubbed right off).

My main looper is the 720 and I can’t recommend them highly enough, but any of these play and will be fine for starting out.

Seeker are the best of all of those but I think blitzball are the cheapest and honestly more than good enough. Whatever you choose enjoy the grind

Thanks, everyone. I’ve got to admit I already have a Loop 720. I was just curious and wanted to add a pair of looping yoyos to an order I was already planning. And I also like collecting them . I like the 720, but I’d also like another yoyo to compare it with besides the Raider, which I already have.

Question: What’s special about the Loop Up seems to be the infinitely adjustable gap width. With the Blitzball you have those three different spacers… but for the Seeker I only saw advice to see if you can find some compatible spacers.

I know as a beginner that’s not super important for me, but it’d be fun to experiment with different setups.

I’m still undecided whether to get the Blitzball or the Seeker. I even briefly thought about getting the Loop Up, but I think the adjustment process is a bit too complicated for me. I haven’t seen the Loop Up version with the metal spacers that you mentioned, @TryCatchThrow

Loop ups are very nice especially the metal spacers ones that don’t adjust but they are a bit expensive for a beginner

Yamamoto says the spacers in the Seeker are designed to not be removed in the video below.

720s and Blitzballs are both customizable with different spacers. They make some difference. 720 also has the Sunrise kits that change the bearing as well.

You can also change response with string length, string thickness, and lube.

Thanks! I thought about it again and it’s going to take way too long before I can start looping two yoyos left and right, so I skipped buying the second yoyo and instead ordered both a Seeker and a Blitzball.

And yeah, I once had a Sunrise—but I gave it away. My Loop 720 is already upgraded with the Sunrise kit, though.

I buy two usually because eventually brands sell out if stuff and some of these loopers never get a release again

Same. I only buy pairs
