I removed some posts because it was going to lead to further arguments and hard feelings which is not the goal of this thread or our community… We can all agree this is a VERY complicated issue and there are no end to the opinions people have. But the goal here is not to discuss people’s opinions about the movement. There are other social media avenues for that. The bottom line point of this this thread however is to highlight a specific group of yoyo players in a positive way.

Stefan Benjamin is who comes to mind for me. He was a big inspiration to me in my early days of throwing. His signature, the hspin icon is still one of my favorite yoyos to this day. I don’t think he throws anymore unfortunately, his last YouTube video was like 7 or 8 years ago. I hope he’s doing alright nowadays.
