I think when the history of yoyo making is written, we’ll be in there for Side Effects. They are only user mode system on a yoyo that has stood the test of time. Side Effects are easy to replace and you can do it over and over and never wear it out. They are pretty bomb proof.
I’m also proud that we’ve managed to make yoyos and bring a toy into the world as our job/living for the last 10 years. It’s a crazy cool way to make a living.
At the same, running your own business can very stressful. There is monthly pressure of bills that never stops so we have to constantly push and hope what we do works. Overall we love it and I start to wonder if I could ever work for someone else again. I’m spoiled
