I’d personally love a bi-metal Shutter, which is why I was so disappointed when they came out with “bimetal styling.”

I was also thinking maybe there’s no great place to put the weight rings and maintain the same weight distribution.
Yeah. If you put the SS on the rings, it’ll just look ugly. If you put the rings where they are on the B I M E T A L S T Y L I N G Shutter then it loses stability, which nullifies the point of having a bimetal.
This is why I don’t think it’s a good idea
The whole concept of the Shutter doesn’t lend itself to utilizing the full benefits of bimetal
