better string

i started making string by following xelas guide and i was wondering am i doing this right:

  1. i put it on the door knob and i go for times away from the door then for times back so its 8 single strings in a long one then i fold it so the string is 16 single strings thick

is this good or should i try thicker

It all depends on how thick the thread is to begin with, honestly. Experiment with different thicknesses to see what you like best!

yea im starting to do that but i was just wondering if you guys do something like this or what do you guys do

When I make my own strings, I go around 6 times and that works for me.
