There are quite a few people who complained recently about the finishing on their brand new Legendary 888 yo-yos, so it’s still ongoing and even on their high end throws.
That said, yes, can imagine at their size and scale, they rely on manufacturer QC and then do spot checks.
I don’t have a ton of experience with YYF, but I will offer something in their defense. I got an iQ a while ago and loved it so much that I got a second. Both of them are flawless and have yet to be knocked out of the top spot in my collection, and I’ve gotten quite a few fantastic throws. The iQ is just perfect.
They also make super cheap yo-yos that are just amazing like 6$ whip is ridiculously fun and 35$ edge fs 2.0 is a surprisingly great all round Yoyo for sure like it’s relatively narrow so I can do techy stuff w it and not feel crowded and have it in case I get asked to do dna(hasn’t ever happened yet lol)
The Evo is awesome, but im recovering from my surgery faster than I thought, and there are a few things I need for trailrunning.
Im happy with just my Hinemosu and butter.
Ive thrown my Evo for about 3 hours, it has never touched the floor. Bearing has been de-shielsed and cleaned.
Im going to put it up for sale, what would be a good price?
Keep in mind, Im in Canada, so I can chRhe canadian dollars (so your USD goes along way and you save money!
What price would sell it quickly?
Also, how much do you typically pay for shipping if you bought something from yoyo expert and lived in the states? So I have a better Idea how much I can ask towards covering shipping.
(To ship expedited to the states, with tracking, in the big case the evo comes in will be expensive on my end)

Some b grade evos circulated into the wild fairly recently, so that might slightly hurt the demand for the evo. That being said my usual rule of thumb is to start like 10-20% off retail and then just bump the price down until it sells (unless it’s a yoyo that’s clearly appreciated in demand), though you could sit on it forever. Usually you can ship a yoyo anywhere in the continental US for less than $5 if you package it properly, so I usually will cover those out of pocket, if the shipping is gonna be more I’ll just ask the buyer to pay the difference.
They definitely play and feel so different. The SU 1 is insane, just a wicked throw. Very stable, does horizontal very well and just a very aggressive feeling yoyo. Excellent with speedy tech and I’m thinking that how the weight is distributed helps in the stability. It’s one I don’t grab when I’m more relaxed. The Miracle is very, very good. Little wider and somewhat has that floaty feeling. Feels different than any other I have, difficult to explain. Not exactly speedy but does horizontal easily. When I’m playing with it for a while, it dawns on me that I haven’t been missing any tricks. I couldn’t pick one over the other since they play/feel so different.
I wouldn’t say more but in my opinion it comes into a sweet spot when an aggressive pace is played. Narrower than the Miracle so tech tricks where space is tight is great and just gets better as you increase speed. For that style it’s insane. I grab the Miracle more often since it’s not so insane. But the Miracle would be fantastic for competition. The Miri Kim brother/sister vid shows how it plays very well. You can’t go wrong with either, they are both so good.
I think the Spinworthy Steadfast is a very good performance yoyo. Don’t take it just from me though. They will be relaleasing at YYE probably within a month.
Really looks great Glen, good job, and I hope it’s a great success so that you can use the proceeds to do a run of wooden unresponsives next (lol, a boy can dream)
