Inspired by @Benthrowsyoyo ’s topic about names for a yoyo company and over-thinking what the name one drop means, I ask this of the forum—what are the best names for Yoyo brands ever?
My list would have to give @Glenacius_K a shoutout for Spinworthy like a name that says what the product is. Like so many yo-yos out now too but these are spinworthy. That’s so good!
OPyoyos too like I think the op stands for something else but idk what and opyoyos is good enough for me like OP= over powered and these are opyoyos hah! So good.
Turning Point. They planted the seed that getting a tp yoyo would be a turning point. And it was hah! So so sick! I’m a fan boi now.
Shoutout to all the brands named after a person bc like yo, you’re out here putting in the footwork to make a name into a brand. This is the hardest to do but also the best way to do it like if a name is notorious, you’re crushing it. (Duncan, Tom Kuhn, Jake Bullock, etc.)
What yoyo brands do y’all think were/are the best named brands?
Second for motion… seems like a good amount of thought goes into not just naming them, but tastefully matching the name to a major design aspect or a distinct feel of the individual yoyos
The company had a catastrophic failure with a think a one of the 1st delrin materials throws. I remember after I picked up a shruiken soon after the delrin Lucha Libre came out. I do not even remember what was so bad about the throw, I never had one wanted one but they were quickly unavailable.
Input by any one that would know.
