I currently have a bunch of yoyofactory yellow strings and the standard white strings from yoyoexpert. Unfortunately they are HORRIBLE at whips and and stuff. They’re good standard strings but I can barely do anything new with them, as they barely whip far enough to complete even a basic reverse hook. Does anyone know any good strings that are cheap on YYE?

Kitty string is the go-to cheap, bulk string that many use. It’s a great string, but it doesn’t last as long as other string.

Monkey Finger Vines are great and not super pricey.

I like using the plutonium strings, personally… they take a bit to break in but are great for whips when they’re in that sweet spot

White slick six is fine, although it’s not as talked about recently.
There are amazing players who aren’t using expensive string.
