Benefits of a high-walled gap?

So yeah, what are the benefits of a high-walled gap? For me they basically close suicide loops and decrease stability.

When a yo-yo is high-walled the face of the yo-yo is cut back resulting in more surface area of the yo-yo touching the string when it tilts; and a thinner profile. Both of these things are good traits for a freehand yo-yo.

I just see no benefit of highwalls. Like the genesis, it is a beast at 5A and absolutly no highwall. Severance and Correa…supernova and genesis, no highwall and the two best 5Aers around…oh and Takeshi Matsura with the detiny or Ai, also no highwall.

It tends to more forgiving to a less experienced player. Many people play 5A with less throw control, hence it is a huge asset to a lower level 5A player.
