A little over a year now in my high school band class, I play alto too, but I like how the tenor sax sounds more.

Hey, I play the alto sax, and I’d say I’ve gotten way better at it. I think it can be hard starting out, but after two hours of practice, I learned how to play “Mary Had a Little Lamb.” So, if you or anybody needs tips, I might be able to help. But you’ll need to pay me $60 an hour <---------THIS IS A JOKE.
Also, “Mary Had a Little Lamb” isn’t a big achievement, but it’s a good start.
As long as you’re making music and enjoying yourself that’s all that matters.
And speaking as a guitar player, being able to play Mary Had a Little Lamb is quite an accomplishment.

I used to sell these as a bundle with a generic mouthpiece, since the Yamaha was about $65 versus $10 for a good generic.
This is the Misheberach (DM with augmented G), it would’ve come with a duduk scale (F#M with low E) and some kind of gypsy harmonic minor that I can’t remember.
They’re pretty easy to make if anyone wants to know, or if you want a good one check out Linsey Pollak’s website and YouTube. The guy is a genius and has picked up an Order of Australia since I last spoke to him
