Gotta be a maniac to play Prokofiev properly.
Decent place to ask this, but I have been learning the bass Guitar for about a month and a half now, Just had my first gig last weekend. Does anyone have any song suggestions with great bass soloās in them?
Piano and bell choir :o
I just got home from playing for FSUās graduation (as I have for the past 16 years). If you have never done it before it is very tiring.
A friend of mine plaid football for FSU from (I believe) 92 to 95. Huge dude. Lots of friends went to FSU as well.
Hey another Joyo! XD I play drums! we could make a band! XD
Love music I do piano drums guitar bass little bit of organ and saxophone
Nice to see this item active again. I have played for 58 years. I am a concert percussionist with training on a number of other instruments.
I play 5-string bass guitar and sing in a sloppy rock nā roll cover band every now and then. I used to be good but too many other hobbies/responsibilities now. Weāve been playing the same 60-odd songs for years but it still pays. People want the songs they know.
Played Viola in High school orchestra, self taught guitar, piano and jaw harp :
Wow, really? Accordion looks really complicated. Mad props. My husband has always wanted to learn the concertina. He currently plays harmonica, ukulele, and jaw harp.
Bumping this topic!
Just logging back from a 2 year hiatus! It has been a while since Iāve posted on here, but I have been monitoring the community here and there. Not only am I here to revive my love for throwing (canāt wait to pick up my old FG Orca), however, I also want to revive the amazing stories/conversations/advice of our fellow musicians.
Please share your experiences! I would love to know you. And if you arenāt a musician, thatās totally okay! Share your personal music tastes and favorite artists
Played in bands and considered myself a musician first and anything else second for the better part of 20 years. Did everything I ever wanted to do, toured a bit, had a lot of fun, but my relationship with music these days is very love/hate.
Sweet! Welcome back
Iām not a musician so have nothing to add hereā¦but yeah, just saying hi! lol
We need photos!
i have a variety of instruments. Piano, Cajon, Ukulele, classical Guitar, Autoharp, violin, Recorder, Flute. my family says i have a Knack for these things (see what i did there? ).
i just dropped a 2+ hour session on the wheels of steelā¦ though not considered a musician by some folksā standards
Takes a lot of rhythm, technical skill, and music history knowledge Iād call that a musician
thank you! and, dirty crummy infected cuticles from digging through crates and piles of dusty recordsā¦ for the love of vinyl!
After about a year long hiatus from piano I am coming back to it today with River Flows In You by Yiruma.
Edit: darn itās hard.
