Any knife guys?

My cold steel

My favorite is not so hard to find but when you ask to play do know how unresponsive and skill to keep it play pop star

To refine the steel then its a big Deal.

I just tried shaving with a straight razor yesterday. I think I’m over it. If I had a tattoo like that on my right arm, I’d need a tattoo of a styptic pencil on my left arm.

The Big Deal.

It fits nice in hand but feels odd when leaves hand.

The yoyo in its self with hubs rotates not stable at all on bad throw.

Took me about hour to be comfortable to do man on trapeze.
The dna the catch to land on finger allot, time binding and relaxing string tension.

Pop star far more easy to play with and no not able to do DNA with that one…

First time?

There IS a learning curve.

This Brush is hand made by an Italian Gentleman in the Italian Airforce. He names all his brushed. This one is Andres. Silvertip Badger.

I have started using a double edge razor and I like the close shave, so I tried a Parker SRB. Close is good, but cutting the beard below skin level seems excessive to me.

That’s a 105%!

Very solid kitchen knives

I’ve got the stainless euro kramer from zwilling but got my brother the meiji

Agreed.

Those razors can be HARSH.

What was your prep?

The Idea; Preshave Oil, Lather over the top of the oil. The goal, just remove the oil layer. There “Should” be NO Pressure of edge to skin.

We have learned the Pressure/Raking from using inferior shaving tools and practices.

The razor should just glide across the skin, popping hair off.

I have found with the disposable straight razors, they could still use a decent stropping and a not as forgiving as a traditional straight razor.

Yep!

Both excellent knives.

The Kramers are nice, but the Kikuichi takes the cake. The nickel warakomi Damascus is so freaking sharp. They are fine razor blades, and very light. The speed of prep is increased significantly!!

The zwilings are nice, they have the og euro handles. The meji collection has been very sweet. Did not care so much for the Fuji collection.

I only use Kramers for working knives.

I had to do some serious restructuring and trading to get here, but GEC has reentered the building. The 49 might get traded or sold, but it’s so nice to have some clean classic patterns again.

I’ll throw up some of my knife pics tomorrow, I got a couple cool ones. I ordered a KME sharpener to try out, should be here tomorrow.

Pulled out my GEC Pocket Carver today to sharpen it since it’s been a couple years. Man oh man, I could not strop it enough to get it sharp enough to shave hair off my arm. I think I want to send it to someone to give all the blades on it a flat edge. Would anyone happen to know of a reputable knife maker that provides that kind of service?

Top purple one in middle yes love the yoyo too.

The review to the blade on video is that the handle are not safe in application use that is a extreme for me to even handle without adding grip tape the handle itself makes the blade dangerous and my hands especially if it gets sweaty.
Love name not the design to the blade.
