you and I have something else in common … we love contemporary art (I, mainly abstract art, the currents of the early years of the last century, such as futurism, dadaism and subsequently pop-art, and hyperealism)
I don’t have to convince you and you the same … we have different opinions in this aspect … and it’s not necessarily bad. We have abundantly expressed and clarified them … we leave room to listen to those of others.
this has been a very fun and enlightening discourse. i am grateful my man , you are an excellent peer!
Becuz that’s who owns a lot of them…
I bought a Fluchs and an Eetsit at list price when released. Recently sold the Eetsit for a bit more than I paid for it, but not exorbitantly. The Fluchs isn’t for sale currently. I wouldn’t pay current going rate for either, and wouldn’t sell the Fluchs for same.
Just wondering if anyone here remembers the ebay sale that caused the huge jump in price for the bape? I remember people talking about it back on yoyonation when it happened and the price never really went down below $150 after that even though they were selling in the $80 range before that sale even though it was artificially inflated between 2 zero feedback buyers. Then followed the eetsit in price along with the rest of Anti-Yos throws.
I feel that people hold it as a grail and when they pay so much for a yoyo they’re never going to come out and say it’s terrible. I remember buying a BSP on release and being extremely disappointed at how terrible it played after all the hype anti-yo had.
Just wish Atomic Cow would sell his Proto Fluchs since it was the only smooth one I played
Aaron the !
Unfortunately he seems to have dropped off the face of the (yoyo) earth…
That’s an excellent way to describe it. I want more
same way i feel about antiyo… imperfect perfection… doing the best we can with the resources we have available. love it, hate it, anti-yo… anti-you… snap, pop… clean off the dust, and let that analog vibe envelop you and make you that much better, and appreciate it more…
Analog. What a great analogy. I spent a great part of my life in analog theory and practice. Good times.
Wow that sounds really nice. Almost as nice as getting good at new yoyo tricks…
(just kidding Mr. Snacks, don’t shoot me again )
@nightshadow you’re alright
