That’s super cool! Could you imagine being able to walk into a store and be able buy YoYos again. Oh man that must be the coolest thing ever. I sure do miss having that kind of access. I hope all of those kids take advantage of it! Such an awesome opportunity!

I went to school right by A2Z about 15 years ago. They had tons of yoyojam stuff in the store back then you couldn’t find anywhere else. I didn’t realize there was a world beyond yomega/duncan until I stopped in. Immediately started to save up for a YYJ speeder I still have. Such a cool store.

I still live about an hour away and love going there with my kids (even if the trips are maybe just as much for me than them). So awesome to see the place featured like this!

Even the toy store in the Mall of America that used to have a ton of different yo-yos is now cutting waaaay back. Just so niche of a market, a bummer tho for sure.

this is super awesome. it really takes a special kind of person to have the drive to teach others and be able to do it for this long, whether it be in person at a club or through video tutorials. and all for free, no less

This is awesome - I’ve known André forever, I bought one of the very first Dark Magics directly from him the day they were launched. The fact that YYE and A2Z are still going strong is a testament to his work ethic and dedication to the hobby.

Is that Air Traffic? Haven’t been there in years. The Rosedale store actually had more than the MOA store, and also hosted a club on Sundays. There was also Games by James at MOA that had a good selection as well but I think that one is gone.

Yessir. I think Air Traffic has two MOA locations now, and Games by James is still around but I don’t recall if they had any yoyos. Did pick up a chess set from there though. I shouldn’t say they didn’t have any selection, but they used to have a case full of really good yoyos. Feels like that just doesn’t exist now.

I actually fell back into throwing because of a trip to Minni in May for a big Magic the Gathering Tournament. Grabbed a Duncan Echo2 from Air Traffic and immediately fell back in love.
