I used to be very active here for a long time, hopefully some old friends are still here and any new friends just now meeting me, Hello!! It feels like coming home after being away for a long time
My once mighty yo-yo collection has dwindled deeply over the last, oh god, 8 years(?!) give or take. So for one reason or another. Health scare, unexpected bills, car repair, abrupt unemployment, you know. Life. During which time, most of my collection was sold bit by bit.
Most of my play went to kites, board games (Magic the gathering and Go) and really focused in on kendama.
So anyway, I recently got an email from Steve over at Caribu lodge and he was talking about not being able to put down the Leaf since returning from a competition. I’d been out of the yo-yo game for a long time but something on this email caught my interest and once I learned it was a kinda of a chief 2.0 so to speak I was piqued and been working OT recently and when I saw it in hulk smash I was in. Pulled the trigger and just like that, im baaaaack!
Anyway, check out this display case I found at a thrift store recently for $20! Feels great to have them out of a zipper case and I can appreciate them properly.
