A Sized Bearing YoYo Love (Small Bearings)

Yep - I’m wrong. Origen is MR85. Thanks for catching that.

But you are correct that the Origin is a great throw with a very affordable price tag.

I’ve given 2 of them away, not because I didn’t like them but because they were such good and capable modern responsives that I knew my friends would love them.

Someone should email YYT and ask if it is discontinued.

For modern A bearing I really like the Confusion Ti, the AL con is retro CF GT goodness for sure. The Turbo GM and Mutant with BPT is a must for 90’s action A.

I would love to hear someone got any response from them at all. They haven’t took in any new inventory at all nor responded to folks I know about buying new stuff and haven’t been active in the community for the last year. Kind of feels like they are on a hiatus and just letting what’s left in the shop sell off but maybe I’m being pessimistic

They must be making some good money from YT. They have 435K subs. I bet that has a lot to do with it, but who knows.

They ship pretty quickly. And when ordered an arcade and got a Solstice shipped to me they took a couple of days but did get back to my email. I do agree their site has shown no new stock of anything, just depleting stock.

Yeah they absolutely deliver I just wonder if they are riding it out till stock is low enough they can liquidate or if they are just busy in other parts of life and will kick butt at some point soon ish

I hate to keep this thread off topic - but since we were just taking about Origens recently - not A as I mistakenly said but MR85 - I see YYT has Blue and Black in stock.

Have to post the 401K here because it is one of the more ultimate A bearings ever produced. This was one of the Throws that inspired the Peak - The Yoyo Archive

Adding on, here’s a 401k I modded for an updated bearing seat and axle, then powder coated white. It’s a shame you can’t find replacement shuttles for these anymore. If someone could figure out how to 3D print these parts that would be amazing. I’m looking at you @wayne927

Yooo “shuttle” is this little white three legged thing that holds the response right?

Is it the same as the newer Velocity that uses pads? This Velocity is the only yoyo I have that uses the dial system, but it’s newer than the old school ones with starburst. I miss my 401SD :sob:

And yeah, I think it’s 3D printable!

Yes! Plus the plastic part that goes on the outside, the Velocity parts are actually a bit different from the ones that go on the 401k, but match the parts on the 401SD. If you can figure out how to make a CAD available for 3D printing the 401K parts, I’ll send ya a 401SD as a thank you!

You know what… I would 100% do this for a 401SD!!! And be part of the conservation effort for the Speed Dial system

DMing you!

I don’t need any more yoyos, I just really, really want a YYF Fast 401K/SD, there is a difference!
