A-rt

Although the situation wasn’t handled well in the beginning, Jensen has reached out to me and we’ve decided to bury the hatchet.

Who is holding the hatchet?

Wouldn’t want to bury it though. Or maybe you do, good brand promotion?

Present tense? No one.

I don’t know if you follow r/throwers on reddit, but our situation (A-rt v ART) has been discussed heavily these past few days. It started with a post by Jensen explaining his point of view. I then authored a rebuttal that further drove conversation. That was my last “angry” post about this subject.

You can read both threads here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Throwers/comments/69ayps/art_and_art_fart/
https://www.reddit.com/r/Throwers/comments/69oia2/re_art_and_art_fart/
(if nothing else, they’re entertaining reads)

Beef/drama is exhaustive and offers little reward. I will forever disagree with how things were handled, but I refuse to continue to sow divisiveness and conflict into the yoyo community. That’s not what I’m here for.

As someone new to the hobby as of october-ish last year, it was definitely confusing to see “ART” and “ART”.

It helps a little for the Jensen and Chuck one to be A-RT. it is in the domain at least a-rt.ca. And they refer to themselves that way:

A-RT is an artistic and business venture by Mr. Jensen Kimmitt and myself, Charles Haycock. Based out of the nation of Canada, we both have very particular return top designs to produce and share with the world that we have assembled over our combined 27 years of experience and sharpened sensibilities. We also have a wide range of content to share with our audience, predominantly in the the form of videos; wether it be for entertainment, education, or for reasons harder to explain.

So I suggest we be disciplined in saying “A-RT” versus “ART”.

I hope you guys do collaborate on a yoyo and I hope you call it the ART squared, with the ART being written so that it vaguely looks like a G.
