recently i have been practicing 4a and the yoyo i am using, Fiesta XX, seems to have too low response for some tricks, specifically one handed bands. I can get the string into the gap with the maximum amount possible and it will not return. Do you guys think using thin or thick lube could help and if yes than which, or is the fiesta XX just not built for those tricks.
It could be your response is shot. It could be your string is shot. Maybe you need a different string(type). It could be the yoyo itself. I’ve seen Bryan Figueroa do amazing stuff with it including 1-handed binds. I can’t, but I’m not that good yet.
The Go Big uses a narrow bearing and hence a tighter gap. Maybe try one of those. That might be a better fit for you.
