Judging from the photos and from talking with azunyan who can read Japanese, the LP is essentially modded Raiders but without modding necessary.
The axle and the axle nut are already set in position so you don’t need to crank. The spacer is also custom made so the bearing actually ‘floats’ from the spacer - giving you good loops while still giving a long sleep.
I asked azunyan to make a clearer translation of the LP article to post in this thread. I hope he follows through.
Whoa! That’s crazy!! You got those Vortex hella cheap. I’m jealous now. Just be careful and not get it hit anywhere like I said earlier about them and their tendency to crack easily. I’m jealous now. I’m gonna get myself a pair of Vortex at this one Japanese store when I have the money.

Yeah, I want to try a bunch of different 2a yoyo’s, it helps that they are cheap and very available… even though my 1080s and raiders are AWESOME. I’m probably not going to use two Vortex at once until my skills are better, but I am really interested in trying them out.
I’m pretty addicted to Looping right now. Last night//Today my brain started to register how to do two handed inside loops. They’re still sloppy and inconsistent, but I am really proud. Needless to say my left middle finger is raw. But it’s about time it got the treatment
Didn’t ylu just start looping a few weeks ago? :o Ive been practicing daily for like nearly two months and just got consistent inside loops with my right hand today. Most days are usually 10 minutes but I practice 1-2 hours some days too haha
No idea, but they’re pretty bright anyway. My edge glow Loop1080s shine through lights and stuff. Gives off that glow look even though there’s no UV light around.
Speaking of glow, YYF will release a glow-in-the-dark Loop1080. Pretty cool.

Just got home from chilling with azunyan and he changed my gap settings off my 1080s for a bit and now it plays a lot better. I guess this will be my benchmark setting if I want to make some changes. Real stoked to practice some more though.

I gotta send these out and these modded :), yeah the guy I got a bunch of stuff from was like “you’re an awesome guy and I appreciate our business and I want you to visit often” then we left and on our way home POW when I opened the bag on the way home they were in there.

Any mods you make will change the feel of your yoyo. I don’t know how to explain it…but it’s good. If you’d like, leave azunyan a message and you guys can make a deal.
For the most part the whole description is filled with marketing lingo and I still stand to what I think - it’s a modded Raider-like looper with custom spacers. I think the custom spacers is the only thing that stands out about this yoyo. And the elimination of making any significant gap changes/cranking. It’s similar to what YoYoJoker did with the Vortex
I can only speculate that Mickey will have to sell this yoyo pretty cheap to compete with other brands who carry loopers. The only thing that might make it a bit pricy are the spacers. He’s gotta give us a price soon though…
At an unrelated note, I’m excited for sOMEThING’s new plastic ‘Addiction’. YYE better stock both LP and Addiction the second it drops too.
