100,000 Yards

Last night I had just finished off another cone of thread, and I thought I would calculate the number of yards of thread I’ve used for string/holsters. The number was 101,500 yards of thread. I had reached the 100,000 mark and I didn’t even realize it till I counted it up. Just thought I would throw that out there for anybody that was interested.

That is a lot of thread.
304,500ft, or 57.67 miles.

Yeah I thought it was note worthy.
edit
In fact it’s longer than an end to end strip of Rhode Island

" Rhode Island is the smallest state in size in the United States. It covers an area of 1,214 square miles. Its distances North to South are 48 miles and East to West 37 miles."

I started making string a month ago and I’ve used like 12,000 meters I don’t know yards because my threads are in meters for some reason :stuck_out_tongue:

You have done 13123.36 yards, or 39370.08 feet, or 7.46 miles.
That is a lot of string also.
If you want to convert meters to anything else, you can use google, and a calculator.

That’s probably cause your thread has a more European background. I have a few that give there measure in meters as well. Also holy cow that is quite a bit. Mega props to you.

Haha I think they say the yards I just don’t pay attention

There’s nothing wrong with Europe.
