Is that the EP 20/20? I’ve never played any of those.
Night Moves regular and tech thin. Practically polar opposites of Zipline’s nylon blends in every quality, so thickness isn’t the only factor in choosing them.
But I started out looking for something thinner than EC Lite.
oh def it does, but its 50/50 whereas the others are either 80% or 100% nylon. it moves a bit more predictably for me so its a trade off. i recently circled back around to execs, mainly because theyre still slower than 100% but still break down much slower than the higher poly ones. plus, let’s be honest, execs feel like rubbing strands of silk on the fingers
anyone know the release name for the cs120 blend? is that prestige?
I think it was a limited edition(?) This is the description of CS120 from August 2023 (AFAIK long after Prestige):
Regarding CS120: We are huge fans of solid white string and strive to produce some of the most luxurious solid white blends on the market. Over the last couple of months we had this idea to experiment with a couple of shade variations that live within the same realm as solid white string, just to see how they compared.
CS120 is made from a 2-stage poly/nylon blend - very similar to our limited edition Easter string release, CS118, but they have a slightly more refined twist torsion. They are soft and classy while still offering a sportier twist than some of our more laid back, classic blends, and we think you’ll love them! If you end up giving them a try, please let us know what you think
Was it CS121 that became Polyesque or was that CS120?
Here’s what I could find:
CS118 - (limited edition)
CS119 - Polyesque Blend
CS120 - (limited edition)
CS121 - ZS.AIR
CS122 - (tbd)
Edit to add: There was also a Hypertone Orange release that was called “the final precursor to the official CS121/CS122” at the time, but I thought became Polyesque. So there’s that.
Edit again: Both CS121/CS122 were part of that release:
we’ve been working on our latest color, HyperTone Orange, and we’ve been using our current CS121 and CS122 formulas as a testing ground. This is the most vibrant, most saturated fluorescent orange we’ve ever released, and we think you’ll love how loud they turned out! We’ll have about 60 packs of each blend available tonight, and this is the final precursor to the official CS121/CS122 rebranding/renaming release
ok that’s what i saw on 120 i just couldda sworn i saw it have a name somewhere. thanks for the info!
