No. They are not like Z stacks. They do not move. They are just like any other cap. They do not move. It’s a wonderful yoyo. I have an impossible time remotely emulating any of Ben and/or Grant’s moves in the video but it’s a great throw. And the caps don’t move.

They are CAPS, they do not have bearings or spin. Since they are made of slick plastic, when you put your finger on them it keeps going because you have no grip on the caps to stop it.
no they aren’t free spinning. It’s just a special cap.
