YYF Singularity

Does anyone have any experience with the YYF Singularity? If so, what is your assessment of it?

As I mentioned before some people called it a Draupnir-copy and I think that is reasonably accurate.

I don’t own one :frowning:

It’s shaped like a Draupnir, but it’s extremely different. The Draupnir obviously plays light, fast, powerful, stable and unforgiving. The Singularity plays somewhat heavy, slightly sluggish, and feels solid rather than hollow. It’s reasonably stable and powerful, but not nearly Draupnir level. I have a hard time recommending it over other comparable throws.

So maybe more like a Draupnir Overdrive, then?

I’ve never played an Overdrive, but from what I’ve read I doubt they’re similar. People seem to think the OG Draupnir and Overdrive are similar. The Singularity is very different and lacking in comparison, imo.

Yeah it is definitely kind of unremarkable but I don’t see that as a huge negative, this may be sacrilege but the OG Draupnir isn’t all that interesting to me either! Hummingbird is a much more modern and interesting take.
