Not a popstar. They retailed for $30, yyf says the throw is atleast worth the amount of the box so $45. Unless yyf lied.

Then it’s also probably not a dv888 (responsive), as it’s below that number. nvm, that same ask.fm page already dismisses the dv888 theory… oops.

In the ask.fm page, they make it sound like the “pocket throw” is one that you wouldn’t cry over losing, while the other…
I asked the question about the dv888, and yes, they said its not a dv888. I’m guessing either a custom engraved nova or 888, because they lead me to believe its custom wyyc engraved from what they’re saying on ask.fm
My money is that the 85 bucks is for the cost of the new mystery throw. The rest will be a bonus, and the other metal will be a popstar with custom engraving.

Sourced from YYF’s ask.fm, as is the confirmation of the released throw being pocket sized. So seeing as there is no “pocket sized” yoyo in yyf’s range that’s 85 bucks, my guess is that this mystery yoyo is worth 85.
Probably. I don’t want to think that they’ll give something sucky like a popstar though. 
I think the main thing here is that the mystery yoyo is likely to cost 85, but we paid 45. Then got a free throw and some swag. Then a code that may be a discount or more yoyos, that part is what keeps me interested and hyped up for next week’s delivery.
I asked if the unreleased yoyo will be available after the mystery boxes are done and they answered that it will be released and will cost more than the entire mystery box.

I have a possible contender for what it is(Not a sig, over $45, metal, undersized) However I don’t really wanna say it just yet.

If the ask.fm is to believed, it very well could be a popstar. They havent said it wasnt.
They have said that it wont be a signature, wont be a DV8888, and it wont be an 888 or any variant.
So that leaves us with few throws, even fewer once you narrow it down to metal “pocket” sized throws. And they also said its not a 65 dollar steel yoyo so its not a Mighty Flea either.
But really, who knows. I’d have a laugh if this ends up being a launch for two new yoyos.
